Love All of You

Can You Learn to Love Every Part of Yourself?

If I asked you to make a list of everything you love about yourself...

how long would that list be?

Now imagine I asked you to write down everything you don't like about yourself.

Which list would be longer?

For many of us, the second list comes much more easily.

We can quickly name our flaws.

"I'm impatient."

"I'm too emotional."

"I'm too sensitive."

"I'm too controlling."

"I'm not confident enough."

Somewhere along the way, we learned that these parts of ourselves were problems that needed to be fixed.

But what if they aren't?

What if they're simply asking to be understood?

Four Words That Changed Everything

A few years ago, I completed a beautiful self-love course with one of my mentors.

Throughout the course, she would often say,

"I love that about myself."

At first, I loved hearing her say it.

It sounded joyful.

It sounded freeing.

But every time I tried saying those same words about myself...

they felt completely false.

How could I honestly say,

"I love that I'm impatient."

Or...

"I love that I'm stubborn."

Or...

"I love that I get angry."

Those weren't qualities I wanted.

They were the very things I was trying to change.

So although those words stayed with me for years...

I didn't truly understand them.

Not yet.

What If Nothing Is Wrong With You?

Recently, while writing my last two books, something beautiful became clear.

What if you've been looking at yourself through the wrong lens?

What if you're not broken?

What if you came here to experience what it feels like to be human?

Imagine, just for a moment...

Before this life, you existed as pure love.

Pure peace.

Pure patience.

Pure awareness.

What if part of coming into a human experience was exploring what the opposite felt like?

What does impatience feel like?

What does fear feel like?

What does uncertainty feel like?

What does anger feel like?

Without those experiences...

how would we ever know ourselves in human form?

Maybe You Came Here to Experience It

This idea completely changed the way I see myself.

Instead of asking,

"Why am I like this?"

I began asking,

"What if I came here to experience this?"

Not forever.

Not as my identity.

But as part of my journey.

Perhaps impatience isn't proof that you've failed.

Perhaps it's simply one experience your soul became curious about.

The same could be true for fear.

For sadness.

For frustration.

For uncertainty.

Maybe these emotions aren't mistakes.

Maybe they're invitations.

Curiosity Changes Everything

When we stop judging ourselves...

something remarkable happens.

We become curious.

Instead of saying,

"I hate this part of me,"

we begin asking,

"What is this experience teaching me?"

That single question creates space.

Space for compassion.

Space for understanding.

Space for healing.

The part of you you've been fighting may simply be waiting to be seen with kinder eyes.

Self-Love Begins Here

Real self-love isn't pretending you never get angry.

It isn't convincing yourself you're perfect.

It's something much gentler than that.

It's being able to look honestly at yourself...

the beautiful parts...

the messy parts...

the frightened parts...

the growing parts...

and quietly whisper,

"I love you anyway."

Not because you've earned it.

Not because you've finally become perfect.

But because you've always been worthy of your own love.

A Different Way to See Yourself

The next time you notice a quality you usually criticise...

Pause.

Instead of judging yourself...

Become curious.

Ask yourself,

"What if this isn't a flaw? What if it's simply part of my human experience?"

You don't have to like every behaviour.

You don't have to stop growing.

But you can stop believing that those moments make you less lovable.

Because they don't.

You Were Never Meant to Fight Yourself

For so many years, I believed healing meant becoming someone different.

Now I see it differently.

Healing isn't about becoming someone else.

It's about remembering who you've always been beneath the fear, the judgment, and the stories.

Perhaps the greatest act of self-love isn't changing who you are.

Perhaps it's finally deciding to stand beside yourself instead of against yourself.

And maybe...

just maybe...

one day you'll find yourself smiling and saying those four little words that once felt impossible:

"I love that about myself."

A Gentle Reflection

Think of one quality you've spent years trying to hide or change.

Now gently ask yourself:

"What if this isn't proof that I'm broken... but part of what I came here to experience?"

Notice what changes inside you when you replace judgment with curiosity.

It's Time to Choose Yourself
